NautiSuite ("NautiSuite", "we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how NautiSuite collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use the NautiSuite mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information NautiSuite Collects

NautiSuite may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Email address and display name when you create an account.
• Vessel information: Boat name, draught, and slipway details you enter in myBoat.
• Location data: GPS position used by anchorAngel, guardianAngel, and launchWindow features. Location data is processed on-device and is not stored on NautiSuite's servers unless you explicitly share it.
• Usage analytics: Anonymised event data (e.g. which modules you open, quiz completions) to help improve the app.
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and push notification token for delivering alerts.
• Subscription data: Subscription tier and transaction identifiers managed through Apple App Store or Google Play.

2. How NautiSuite Uses Your Information

• To provide and improve the Service, including tidal data, anchor watch, and grounding alerts.
• To send push notifications related to your vessel's safety (anchor drag, grounding risk).
• To manage your subscription and provide customer support.
• To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve app features.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

NautiSuite does not sell your personal data. NautiSuite may share data with:

• Supabase: Cloud database provider used to store account and subscription data securely.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management platform.
• Apple / Google: For in-app purchase processing.
• Firebase / Expo: For delivering push notifications.

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data in accordance with applicable law.

4. Data Retention

NautiSuite retains your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting privacy@nautisuite.app.

5. Security

NautiSuite uses industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; NautiSuite cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. NautiSuite does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@nautisuite.app.

8. Changes to This Policy

NautiSuite may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
